The Puritan Americas Cup racer 1885 by Mamoli. Designed by Edward Burgess, the Puritan was a sloop of a little less than 30 meters. In 1885, under Captain Aubrey Crocker, she defended the Americas Cup against the English cutter Genesta, winning in only two races. An excellent kit for beginner and experienced modelers alike the Puritan at 1:50 scale is an impressive 880mm long and 935mm high, a centerpiece of any room. Great for those of us whos eyes and fat fingers have problems with the smaller scales.
This kit is new/old stock which I believe to be complete, look the photos over carefully. Kit includes plans, instruction booklet, wood components, brass fittings, display stand, and rigging thread. New/old stock, good condition, see photos.
