Götheborg is a replica of a vessel, owned by The Swedish East India Company, formed in 1731 in Gothenburg. The launching took place on June 6th, the Swedish National Day, year 2003. The maiden voyage departed from Gothenburg in 2005 and will take about two years. This premium kit features a plank-on-frame bulkhead construction, laser cut plywood keel and frame components, rigging cord in various sizes, and numerous hull/ deck fittings in brass and/or plastic for a museum quality finish.
